Have a character whose nose whistles during a time when silence is of the utmost importance. :P

I applaud you for finding the time to do this. I keep thinking I'll record a blog, but it's usually when I'm behind on my word count. :P

1. A character looks for meaning in a recurring dream about a lizard.

2. A character usually chugs a frappacino as a confidence booster...until he accidentally drinks a ginger ale at a crucial moment.

3. A character gets annoyed at another character for not answering the dozen or so texts he sent this morning.

4. A character realizes that something his childhood teacher once told him actually can help with a problem right now.

5. A character has a tattoo that he doesn't remember getting.

Dare 1: Use the exclamation "Giggletastic!"

Dare 2: Use the exclamation "Holy Ninja Turtles, Batman!"

Dare 3: Your characters ride a Greyhound bus (an _actual_ Greyhound bus, no sci-fi equivalents)

Dare 4: Incorporate a character who randomly interjects "DOOM!" into others' dialogue.

Dare 5: Your characters buy a snack that is better than bacon. (Before I start a riot, it's SCIENCE FICTION, folks. It doesn't have to make rational sense.)
