Not very smart. Leaves your flank WIDE open.
What if I made a feint to the head, got you to block and then went down and tagged you in the flank.
Or even better, since you're parrying a little too close to your body, a powerful opponent could probably overpower that block.

I like it. Simple, pretty, and not very common out on the battle field. It seems effective enough against middle players at least. :)
