She is wearing traditional Kunoichi attire during her fighting scenes, it's meant to be light so she can move around, quit being a bunch of ignorant pervs.

Mai is probably the most unlucky female love interest ever.

She's not in Garou: Mark of the Wolves, the last entry in the Art of Fighting/Fatal Fury timeline, but Andy is, and he's STILL single.

So years later they're in their mid-to-late thirties and Mai has somehow still not convinced Andy to hitch up with her.

She can't even FIND him most of the time really.

No such thing as "traditional" kunoichi attire, just like there was no "traditional" ninja attire: the wearing black thing is mostly a cultural aspect from kabuki plays when all "ninja" characters wore black in it.

A kunoichi probably dressed like every other woman in Japan, or inconspicuously for their social position.

The most invisible kind of person is the one right in front of you you aren't paying attention to at all.

But yeah, she DOES kick ass.
