  • unless you are an athlete or are sweating a lot, there is no need to drink 64 oz of water a day. in fact that can actually deplete your body of nutrients. It is true that we need 64 oz of water a day, but we get around 52oz from the food we eat. you really only need about a glass and a half daily.
