Ms. Moncrief's testimony is also true, identically so, of AARP; instead of the org increasing the buying power of it's elderly citizens (members) in the free market it scurries away the dues into coffers to increase their lobbying function and take part in writing legislation.

Believe me, elderly did not join AARP to bolster it as a lobbying force for socialist principles! most of the members don't even understand what has happened to AARP.

Hello dear lady! You are correct in assessing AARP. Thank goodness they showed their hand over this health care business because their membership has suffered considerably. I try to tell everyone I know who is affected but it can be tricky. The elders are personally my heroes and I never forget what they have done for me and my country with their sufferage and hard work. It breaks my heart to see how they are being dishonored.
