@GamingTranceSeer are you surprised?

@PT109Boat Good point. Such an incredible double standard. How can anyone justify actually giving comfort to the soldiers who harass others because of their sexuality?

FUCK YOU SAM NUNN JOHN WARNER ALL REPUBLICANS AND THEIR NIGGER COLIN POWELL. YOU FINALLY LOSE SO EAT SHIT AND DIE MOTHERFUCKERS.

Honor the memory of gay soldiers who gave their lives to protect the right for people to be bigots.

0:54 If people who want to serve are expected to give up those Constitutional rights and privacy, why DADT is not expanded to Religion?
-
@anodyne8 Yeah, I caught that, too. I remember reading that Thomas Roberts came out a while back, but I'm wondering if the color of the tie or something else about it has some history that we should know about. Maybe they were just flirting.

It's time for this policy to bite the dust! It's amazing to see how much things have changed over the past 18 years. The military just wasn't ready in 1993.

This was the reason I couldn't bring myself to join the marines. I wouldn't be able to be myself and allow people to truly know who I am and where I've come from. So proud of those that did serve for our country. It is truly unselfish of them!
DADT violated the Constitutional Rights of service people as well as the military's own honor codes, forcing people to lie when they have sworn oaths otherwise. DADT was a sad chapter in America's long history of gays serving in the military. Read "Conduct Unbecoming" (by the Pulitzer Prize winning author Randy Shilts-- And the Band Played On) to learn just how long a history that has been, from the Revolution to today.
