Here's the second third of Ideals for Earnest Youth-The Musical, extolling the rules and regulations concerning courtship-or as the youngin's call it-dating. This was the second song that was written, done in one long night in the music room (N109) at Hesston College. It has been pointed out that the views on dating from the writers perspective are somewhat questionable, as they only seem to acknowledge that volunteering at church, playing board games, and engaging in sex are the only things that a couple can do in a relationship. And one of those is off limits. Then again, if you're looking for dating advice from a production like this, you've probably already gathered that your ideals are going to be a bit off base anyways.
