ideal style is to run with way like you dont run with long steps but more shorter IMO, when is a question about long trips of running. Because i think with longer steps your legs and muscles gets tired easier because the pressure is harder when your legs takes longer steps, easy to understabd.

@onedingshort Doesn't get any better than Bruce calling athletics. It is my earliest memory of televised sport, bruce calling Flo -Jo in the 200m at Seol; "Ya can't do that! [break the WR in final after breaking it in the semi] She's done it. She's done it again!"

I doubt that there has ever been a better night of Olympic athletics than Monday the 25th of September 2000. First there was Cathy Freeman and Michael Johnson in the 400's the Szabo and O'Sullivan race and then just to top it all off Gebra in the 10,000 metres. It is great to hear Bruces calls of these races, if only they had him over the pa system there instead of playing Robbia Williams and Vanessa ammarosi over and over. Still waiting for him to entertain me and it got it the first time that

@danhar2688 I think if Sonia was running today, in 2011, competing against Defar and Dibaba then she would run well under 14:30 in my opinion. Theres no doubt these 2 ethiopians would be faster runners but its not all about fast times either. Sonia was an astonishing championship runner and had an amazing kick. Unless Defar or Dibaba went out and pushed the pace to burn her off then Sonia would be there at the bell and would definetely stand a chance against them over a final lap sprint.
