Oxygène goes Canada!
Canada's Ocean Quest is the first North American dive centre to join the Oxygène group. From the 2008 season, the dive side of the company will market itself as Oxygène Newfoundland, while the adventure side will retain the trade mark Ocean Quest. The dive centre is located in Conception Bay, just outside of St Johns Newfoundland on Canada's east coast.
Diving in this area offers WWII wrecks, icebergs, whales and a wide variety of marine life. Oxygène Newfoundland also offers combined dive and adventure packages. For those of you that like adventure and nature, follow along on one of the many expedition tours around Newfoundland and Labrador.
The dive centre offers a four star "Dive lodge" for individuals and groups of up to 12 persons. A sauna, conference -- gathering room, as well as a specially built indoor training pool are a few of the facilities available to guests.
The dive centre also assists with transfers to and from the airport and assistance in booking other accomodation.
Oxygène Newfoundland has a well stocked dive shop and offers equipment rental, air, nitrox and trimix fills, as well as both sport and technical diver courses. All of the boats are inspected and certified by Transport Canada.
