This is a fun and interesting film about growing but some of his techniques are outdated and wrong. Taking cuttings from the top of a plant? No, you take cuttings from the bottom because they contain more nitrogen and have a better chance of rooting. Plus most of us use single containers with soil and not hydro or a hybrid hydro system. Not the cleanest or most efficient room in the world, much waste of light. For rooms that size one should be getting 1-1/2 to 2 lbs a harvest, not a QP.

@MedicalCAmarijuana Wong.. 10 and 14 is the way it is supposed to be. And you do not need 18 and 6 in veg, you can use less light than that and achieve faster more productive yields. We have been misled for years.

@drago884 plus his harvest was TOO EARLY! I woulda gave at least 2 more weeks. only half the hairs were brown. He shouldve waited for at least 75% to turn brown. I feel the harvest wouldve been heavier have he waited.....

I'm dutch and i live in amsterdam. This guy has a good grow-rep here in the city and for a non-dutch guy thats HARD to do. I wont give up his name for obvious reasons but i will say apart from his weed knowledge he's a thoroughly nice guy.

I think he keeps the light WAY too far from the plants.

Grew AK47's under a 1000w HPS and the light was always maybe 10" away from the plant tops at most.

He uses a 400w at almost two feet away.

So the plant gets a lot less lumens this way, thus less yield.

If the light is air cooled and the plants have a nice breeze produced by a boxfan, it's possible and desirable to keep the light much, much closer than he does in this vid.

@SkeksisRule It all depends on local environment. I would adapt to whatever local conditons were. I like water culture, not DWC but SWC. Shallow water culture. I call em bubblers. You bubble to make the bud and bubble to toke the bud. It's bubbling all the way through.
