@zeffia87 that's not what a bassist does??there're many good bass players who do solos , i play bass too , and i think that we have to know how to use it in any kind of song , it would be difficult to do a solo if you play in a country band , but playing in a rock band , i think there are many ways to make the bass lines more spectacular.( listen to rush for example , or just soundgarden's bass lines), i think mike should pay more attention to his bass lines.(sorry if my english is too bad xD)

@rexspe He just wants to do his job. If he wanted to solo and all that, he'd play guitar. I'm a bassist too, and I don't solo (not only 'cause I'm not good enough) but because that's not what a bassist does.
