if anything i think progression allows us to live fantasies in RL that we couldn't before: how many people have imagined a magic carpet before we had flight? sexual fantasies? welcome The Pill and see the dawn of open marriages. and making love with wireless microphones stickied hearing heart rates at high volumes? amazing. in the future? add to that genetic treatments and imagine the possibilities.
