Hey thanks for the review. it was really helpful. Wish there were more of these on the web for other watches. Great Stuff.

Great review. I have one of these, but with a stainless steel band. One of my favorite watches.

Great value for money.I will buy one!

Screwdown "backplate" provides greater water resistance.

@MuvoTX ....great review. Your Orca review has got me thinking of getting one of them too! I just don't like the integrated strap though. But I suppose you can get a replacement from Citizen if it breaks.

@ColtACP45 ....thanks. I was thinking a piece of scotchbrite, but your idea is better.

@Andreas748 Take some modelers sandpaper and take the shine off the sides. I did mine and really like it!

@Andreas748 Took some modeling sandpaper (super fine) and sanded the sides. It looks much better.
It's kind of shiny. Any way to get a brushed finish on this?

@Andreas748 I have seen other enthusiasts mod the finishes on their Seikos, so it wouldn't surprise me if it could be done.

Please, Can anyone tell me: why on the quartz watches second hand is not hitting the markers?

@zibonzuzezu manufacturing tolerances. Not all quartz watch second hands miss the chapter ring marks. My Citizen orca has excellent alignment. There are a lot of Seiko quartz divers that also have very good alignment.
