Where is the brake booster?

Hi,

there was no place for the bb, because the DCOEs. But the brake system is running perfect. Mastercylinder is 20mm for front and 19mm for rear. You need a litte bit more pedalpower but you have a better feeling for the brake.

Lots of people say that it's not that bad running a e30 without a brake booster. I guess it must be true, but last time I tried it with my e30 (turn of the car, release the pressure from the brakes), it was rather hard to stop it.

You can do two things to get a more "power":

1. smaler mastercylinder = more pressure

2. bigger brakecaliper (piston) = brake pads will be pressed on the disk with more pressure

Belive me, this brake is running perfect.

Klasse Projekt! Wo ist der gewichts- und leistungstechnisch gelandet?

Hallo,

sorry für meine späte Antwort. Rallyfan hat die Frage ja schon beantwortet. Es ist allerdings geplant, das Gewicht mittels GFK Teilen und Entfernen des UBS auf ca. 880 kg zu drücken. Das sollte machbar sein. Ist ja alles noch aus Blech.

Hallo,

darf ich fragen, wo Sie die Bremsanlage her bekommen haben? Ich habe im Netz gesucht und nichts gefunden. Bin auch gerade am Aufbau eines E30, der aber noch strassentauglich sein muss. Die Bremsen-Upgrad´s, die ich gefunden habe, verlangen alle eher 17" Felgen...diese finde ich aber zu groß! Daher würde mich diese Bremsanlage sehr interessieren, ebenso die Felgen.
