Its a sad fact that only one mascara i know of actually gives you the ability to control how much mascara comes out - and i'll be reviewing that one very shortly.
If you every work with a makeup artist or back stage at a fashion show you'll see mascara all over their hands. This technique - while very simple can make a massive difference to how your lashes look.
The reason most people don't do it is because - well - its wasteful. Even more so if the mascara you're buying is £15-30! Ouch!
Why not give this a try - see how it works. Its a very simple quick makeup tip but one that can really give you the longer, fuller, thicker lashes you're looking for without the clumping.

Goss, no matter what brand mascara i use, high end or low end, i always get black smudges under my eyes from the mascara when i do my lower lash, I even make sure I use thicker concealor, set it, till its dry, but the mascara always ends up somewhere under my eyes, so i quit puttin it on lower lash, ive also rubbed a Qtip along lower lashes to get off excess but still happens. ANY suggestions? all have been waterproff, i dont know whats up?

You can ruin the mascara wand if you wipe out the excess mascara on the mascra tube....and thanks goss for the tip!!

the leftover stuff you can use as liquid eyeliner lol i tried it today and it lasted forver!

I DO THIS, but instead of scraping it off on my hand I scrape it on the tip of the mascara bottle. that way I'm not wasting anything.
