Hutton was not well liked by the film crews that worked on her picutures; she was not popular and this hurt her career.

I love her mischievious expression and sassy brown eyes!

Wonderful woman!. What a respectful man Mr. Daly was!, I liked too much that gesture he made when he showed that both were holding hands to calm Miss Betty´s nerves.. What man so gentlemanly, intelligent and professional!

Just think when this was on the assumption was that every child would die from leukemia...how far we have come.

MyMother said when I was a child that Betty hutton was "TOO MUCH...TOO PUT ON!"
As an adult I can be confident in saying that my Mother was "FULL OF SH*T!"

Betty was pretty and talented, but also manic and not mentally stable. Looking at her here, it's sad to think she ended up having a very troubled life.

Incredable woman! What she has gone through in life I give her credit.
I've always though Betty's problem was she was so bright! She did indeed teach drama at a college later in life. In interviews she was always articulate and beyond that evidenced careful thought and perfect manners. I think most of her career, which was enormous both in films and on recordings, she was frustrated always having to battle for a voice in decisions and artistic choices. There just weren't many options for bright women. And they had to fight for every artistic goal they had.

I agree; beneath her boisterous facade there was a tender, sensitive woman. Just listen to her sing a ballad.
