how good r they with kids?

If they are raised around children then they do really well. The ones that aren't are generally pretty shy around children though. Its pretty similar to a lot of other small dogs.

@Darksassy We call them Toy, Mini, and Standard, but they are all three Klee Kai.

I'm in the Riverside area of southern CA. There's actually a number of breeders down here. If you google World of Wonder Alaskan Klee Kai my website should come up. @wowakk ah's so theres no name for each size then? cause im looking for a med looking dog... do u know any breeders in Cali (Where i live)

@Darksassy it varies depending on the variety. Or i should say they are broken up into varieties based on size. the toys are 1 inches and under. the minis are over 13 inches and up to 15 inches. The standards are over 15 inches and up to 17. Anything over 17 inches is considered over sized. My smallest is 12 inches at the shoulders and my largest is 17.5 at the shoulders.

Actually in this case they are Alaskan Klee Kai puppies. The oldest was about 9 months old.

I would never trust a Klee Kai off leash if it was some place where they might get lost or run away. But for the most part they stay with their people. At the dog beach they stay within about 50 feet of us at all times. Usually I take an alpha dog with me and they make sure the others stay where they are supposed too.
