Why would anyone trade in 40 - 80 years of personal fulfillment for an eternity of pain and torment in hell for all eternity? This is a raw deal to say the least...a bad trade off. However, to put this in a real perspective, secret societies are really societies with secrets. However, what are these secrets? These secrets are occult knowledge and wisdom, which means they know the true origins and nature of spirits, angels and demons, divinity and the afterlife.

These bodies of information do need to be checked for quality.  The approach of a technician is to assume all of those isolated details would be accurate because of blind faith in some system. This start of modern science will breakdown material into details from their wholeness. Each of these approaches assumes no corruption will enter into the study process, without need to actively eliminate the not accurate information. All of that information is becoming gradually corrupted, not better.
