"The Range Rover Evoque looks great, is fun to drive on and off-road, and, in five-door guise, can swallow a family of four."
The compact SUV segment is filled to bursting and there's even more metal on the horizon, but nothing has quite the same impact as the Range Rover Evoque. And while Land Rover Australia thought the three-door Evoque would sell like hot cakes when it arrived Down Under sales of that model have virtually stalled. Instead, it's this five-door Evoque that's winning fans around the country. Our test car, a TD4 Pure (you can choose from Pure, Dynamic and Prestige), is fitted with a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder (the same engine that's in the Jaguar XF 2.2D) has Land Rover's genius Terrain Response and is bigger on the inside than its cute, designer looks would suggest.
