@32GaugeSlug watch some no gi fights and it will look a lot better for someone whos new to it. there are so many grips and ways to sweep and keep from being swept that as a blue belt level practitioner some of this still confuses me. its just high level jiu jitsu. look up some blue belt gi matches or no gi matches at intermediate level and it makes more sense
