Well...i tried his forehand tips..and i had an ok forehand before, but I was really ripping the ball, and for some reason, I didn't hit one ball in the net..hit a few long...but by and far i definitely had more control and more consistency...I don't know the science behind it, but so far so good...

I have to say that I've been burned by a few "tennis pros" who offer material online and then you buy it and find out that the pdf is like 20 pages or even less of generic info you could have got anywhere. However, I haven't even watched the dvd yet but I am currently reading the 60 page TennisGuru e-book and I'm very impressed. This time I definitely got value for the money I paid. Excellent stuff Guru...

i have a question. I'm a senior on my high school team. I really want to make an impact this year. I've been known as been streaky, i can hit the most amazing winners but sometimes make the stupidest mistakes. I've been also told I have good footwork and speed. My serve though is very shaky and so is my fitness level. What do you think I should do to be able to make an impact on the team (i want to make the best impact possible) and succeed?

Sorry I've taken so long. Hope this gets to you in time. Your best bet for these situations is to make your opponent hit as many balls as possible. Give them a chance to miss. I don't mean push the ball but be warmed up and stay consistent during the points. Don't try and blast winners. You can do that in practice once the season starts. For now just get yourself on the team. Good Luck. I hope you kick some butt. Clint

tennisguru wat grip do u use for the forehand? semi western... and wat would u recommend for back hand a high loop or straight back(the takeback of the raquet)... thnx!!

I use Semi Western. I would recommend a shoulder turn for the back swing of your two handed backhand. If you keep the racket in ready position it will almost do a loop for you when you turn your shoulders. There is no perfect way to do this as every ball comes over the net at a different height so your loop will be slightly different every time depending on where you make contact. I hope this helps. If you have any other question let me know. Best Wishes. Clint
