@desertdude1234 i totally agree with you. there are many systems in place to squash any sort of rebellion or revolution. the "submit or revolt" dichotomy that we have been programmed with is totally bogus. there is another beautifully viable solution...
abandonment.
abandoning this system of slavery and destruction would save the most lives and avoid the most pain. non-support is like doing nothing, and there is no defense against doing nothing. i would send you a book, if you want...

"50 FUCKEN CENTS AN HOUR TO A DOLLAR AN HOUR" is usually higher than the average wage of that country; ergo better standard of living (not by our western standards of course, but by their standards- yes). In order to challenge sweatshops you have to understand economics. Remember, it took America and Europe (us "developed nations") about 100-120 years to get rid of our sweatshops. Thanks to new technology, we've cut that time by almost 2/3rds for developing nations.

You lost me at "workers asking for better work conditions and higher wages." Sweatshops are bad: yes, but they do invite capitol into a country, and although it might not be apparent by our western standards- these sweatshops do increase the quality of life for these individuals (their alternatives being prostitution and scavenging). If they were smart enough to unionize against these sweatshops then they should have the know-how to apply these same skills for their own benefit.
