Despite the fact that climate change is no longer on the front pages, it is still a big problem we face together. The Australian Coal Association recognises that coal emissions play a part in this challenge. However, Australia needs coal. It provides energy security, billions of export dollars, and is the livelihood of hundreds of thousands of Australians.

This is why the Australian Coal Association is investing one billion dollars, as part of a worldwide effort, to reduce emissions from coal fired power.

Carbon capture and storage, along with renewables and energy efficiency, is a vital part of the global climate change solution.

  • Evil propaganda!

  • @coszz What they have done however is remove those protections that we had before, as imperfect as they were, and created a free for all, and now they point the finger and say it was the free market. To the educated person, it's obvious what they are doing - they always have and always will hate the free market, because it gives economic liberty and therefore political liberty to the masses - to entrepreneurs. We DO NOT have a free market. It was NOT the free market that caused this situation.

  • @coszz The globalists have trained us to always see things in terms of absolutes, black and white, just like the masonic squares on the floor. That is not the nature of the world. No water - you die. Too much water - you die. Therefore the question is of degree. A free market doesn't mean a free for all. It means reasonable measures to protect from monopoly. In other words, we need to revise the rulebook. Otherwise, it's a good thing. They want us to think otherwise while they steal everything.

  • @TheGoodnessIsGood Theres a lot wrong with profit. The capitalist imperative for more and more profit is destroying the planet as we know it, and thus our ability to sustain our species into the future. It is becoming a question of a self inflicted holocaust, all for short term material gain.

  • @coszz there's nothing wrong with profit - what these people want is EVERYTHING. Like the Queen song: "I want it all and I want it now". That's because they're mafia criminals from top to bottom just low dirty scum mafia who want to rob and starve the world's people into submission so they can rule over us like the good old days.

  • Hey genius why don't you just stop the Pentagon from polluting problem solved. Nukes and uranium is a lot worse for the environment long term than your beloved CO2 scam. But no you don't care about the environment, you just want to make money from carbon taxes. What a scam. Everyone knows this is a total scam but the fact you keep peddling this after the fact just makes you go down in history as the biggest wankers that walked the earth in our time.
