I agree the production method of money is corrupt. I do not, however, agree that the money itself is evil. A plow is not evil, it is a tool. A gun is not evil, it is a tool.

My objection is the subtle removal of responsibility from the individual. Man has numerous tools at his disposal and it is his choice of application that will ultimately determine his condition.

"Fault" = responsibility. This is a concept lost on those selected to be in this film.

@nuveausapien were money simply a medium of exchange then money would be in it's proper place, to serve humanity. as it is money is much more than a medium of exchange, it's an end unto itself and thus enslaves humanity.

not to be forgotten is that money is a human creation thus malleable to human shortcomings, greed above all else. as it is the system of money creation is completely rigged and totally out of whack with life.

The mistake is blaming the money itself for the evil that men do.

Men make mistakes, NOT the money.

Men commit crimes, NOT money.

Blaming the evil in the world on the medium of exchange makes as much sense as blaming a movie ticket because you didn't enjoy a film.

I saw a special viewing of this documentary at the Hollywood Theatre in Portland, OR, recently and it was a real eye-opener. A well-made film with appearances by experts from around the world, it explains the history of the financial industry and how it contributed to the current economic situation. Made me realize how uninformed most of us are about the business of money- who produces $, where credit comes from, the societal impact of acquiring it and alternative ways to live without it.
