I really wish she'd stop being stubborn and immature and just call her grandson, even if to just say hello and that she loves him. His name is Ryan, and he is one of my dearest friends and the sweetest of gentlemen. DORIS PLEASE CALL YOUR GRANDSON RYAN!!! HE MISSES AND LOVES YOU DEARLY!!!!

Ed Dickinson sounds like a really nice man, but I have to concur with ucfbtm, he isn't much of an interviewer. I can think of a thousand questions or topics I wish he'd talked to Doris Day about, yet he seems a little bit in love with the sound of his own voice. Take some reader calls (that poor woman, Barbara, who was on hold for an hour and never did really get to say anything much!) or read some e-mails next year.

Ed really wasn't much of a competent dj,he was more a pal - 'shooting the breeze' with his friend.One thing I liked tho,is how he again tried to convince Doris to drive to DC - but she still won't go,claiming that she doesn't even like the attention. I actually emailed while she was thinking of Deutschendorf,since I have the dvd of the Today special (1975).But of course they didn't read it out while she was still on.Perry Como was on the 1971 special - so she might have confused the 2.

How beautiful thought of hers, every talented person should share his gift with the other people.
Oh, she forgot John Denver's name. Moderator should be more prepared for helping her in the case she doesn't remember everything. He doesn't know about the show with Perry Como as a guest too. Maybe there should be one of the fans to get information if necessary.
