"" AWNSER "" At 20 seconds, you can clearly see him fold the yellow band so that it is doubled up.. and he pulls the band tight so it appears to be one band.
Then for the for the join he slides the green band inbetween the folded yellow band to make it look like it is looped together with the green band.
