My dell xps m1530 camewith dell wriless 5720 vzw mibile broadband but locked to verizon wireless network, this hetwork is not active in my location. How do I unlock it to enable it accept local broadband in my area. Can anyone help me resolve this problem?

I've heard many times that this card will not work with Windows 7...does anyone know if dell have any support drivers for win 7 or if there is another card that will work on this system with OS 7... I can't find any.

Great video, I have just ordered a card and will be giving it a go this week. Did you get the drivers from the Dell website? I wont be using the Vodafone connection and if possible I dont want the branding ether!

i bought it off ebay, it was a dell 5520 module.

not trying to sound like a smart ass...but
would it have been possible to attach the black and white wires first? then put it in?...or no

no because you need to access the screw that holds the card in place, and if you connect the cables first they're totally in the way.
