In Hebrew "Nahash Tzefa" which means "Poisonous Snake". That was the code broadcast through radio and tv at the time to tell citizens to immediately wear the gas masks and get to the underground shelters. Nahash Tzifa - Viper Snake. it was the code word used to operate the alarm during the Gulf War.
today our siren is ECN 3000 in most cites. expact of the north area (haifa and more) there is old air sirens working by pulse and not as the ecn 3000, electric siren.
