  • Could you put up a translation of the announcement?

  • @votail1

    read the comments please

  • This may sound like a stupid question but what is being said at 0:13ish of this video?

  • @TheDanishLegend

Nahash Tzifa - Viper Snake. it was the code word used to operate the alarm during the Gulf War.

today our siren is ECN 3000 in most cites. expact of the north area (haifa and more) there is old air sirens working by pulse and not as the ecn 3000, electric siren.

close to the gaza strip (inside israel) - where the rockect come from the south, there is places where the siren say with women voice "tzeva adom" - red color. remindes red alart

  • Long live Israel!!!

  • הייתי בת 3 ורק הגענו לארץ לא זוכרת הרבה רק את הפחד של ההורים שלא הבינו לאן הגיעו...היום הם כבר מבינים לצערינו....I was only 3 years old when me and my parents experienced this war...we only came to Israel I don't remember much but I can still remember the fear of my parents not knowing where we came....now 22 years later we finally know

  • Iowa's there still gives me the chills

  • What kind of siren is that...

  • @TheDanishLegend

In Hebrew "Nahash Tzefa" which means "Poisonous Snake". That was the code broadcast through radio and tv at the time to tell citizens to immediately wear the gas masks and get to the underground shelters. It was broadcast each time a Scud missile was detected coming from Irak, launched by Saddam Houssein.
