This is a turn table three-legged walk cycle animation test of the 3D character NineOh™ (0090™). The primary purpose of this test was to explore how such a three-legged character might walk and to rig and refine the 3D character for full body animation. He's on a turntable so that I could see the moving character from all angles. Another goal of the test was to verify that motion would help the disconnected floating parts hold together and form a cohesive character in the viewer's mind.

LightWave 3D 9.3.1 UB was used for the nodal texturing, lighting (including a spinning light rig & backdrop radiosity), IK Booster Rigging, Animation and Rendering. The character was modeled in modo 3.01. It was all done on an 8-core 3GHz Mac Pro dual processor quad core Intel Xeon.
