Art lover, music lover, culture vulture Malcolm McLaren has passed away in Switzerland at the age of 64. McLaren was a pioneer in bringing subcultures out into the mainstream public. Early in his career he recognized that it was these subversive cultures that would later be reinterpreted and adapted into the larger world to be copied by millions. His hunger for promoting the fringes of society and social outcasts brought him controversy much to his delight. Sympathies to his family and his lifelong partner in crime Vivienne Westwood
