On 4th November 2010 in global web was premiered the most provocative and surprising work from DJ MEG and Timati, called "Party Animal", which immediately attracted the attention of the entire music community. Being ahead of its time track "Party Animal" almost did not get into the rotation on Russian radio stations, but despite this, became one of the leaders in online listening in the web. It is necessary to notice that before being presented in the web the track has rocked all leading European dance floors.
A few weeks later the video for the track "Party Animal" came out, the presentation took place in Rolling Stone Bar on the 18th of November, and already on 29th of November it was officially launched on the Internet. In a day time "Party Animal" video got more than 56,000 views within the YouTube site and received rave comments from viewers all around the world. Director of the video was Vladimir Shklyarevskii who worked with DJ MEG in the video for his track "Only You". According to the scenario of the video Timati is on the underground party, surrounded by unusual and freaky extras. Quite unexpected looks of DJ MEG and Timati, in combination with selected for the shooting locations impress. In addition to the appearance and crazy energy, the video "Party Animal" carries a message, the meaning reveals only in the end of the video.
DJ MEG: I can say that "Party Animal" inspires me. I was directly involved in writing the script of the video and I am delighted that we managed to make a reality all our ideas. The storyline of the video contains the message, which I wanted to convey to the audience. I consider the track and its accompanying video a decent product on Russian music market.
Timati: DJ M.E.G. -- is a quite talented musician. With him I can create high-quality products. Huge number of people helped us to realize our ideas in this project. DJ M.E.G. kept under his control all the details, so this project justified our expectations. The message, embedded in our video, has a deep meaning. We wanted to show that club culture can be combined with a healthy lifestyle. In the end of video I make a choice in favor of healthy club culture which I follow and in real life.
