The Mists of Avalon is my favorite book since I was 15, but the fact is that I CAN'T stand watching the movie anymore... I'm reading the book again and let's admit, the adaptation is terrible! I don't exactly hate it because I've watched the movie first and it lead me to read the book, but how many times I thought "I could use that scene for the video... but OH! That's only in the book", it kills me.
Anyway... this video was inspired by ** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pzb8Br1Kbq0 ** that appeared miraculously in my recommended videos when I was looking for inspiration =)

Wow, they definitely got Gwenhwyfar's beauty right, the actress is stunning. I just wish they hadn't cut so much out of the book though. :/

this is really good. I love this movie and the song fits so well. I saw the movie first so i will always like it, but then i read the book and i got so angry because they left out so much and changed a ton! Still a great movie, but no where near as good as the book!

I agree. Like how Igraine is supposed to be 19 and beautiful and Margause is supposed to be 13, but they look thirty in the movie!

I know exactly what you mean when I read the book it was because of Arthur and his relationship with his sister and the book had so much between them and the movie just didn't they expected us to understand Arthur and Morgaine's feelings toward each other

@MadrigalPrincess the relationship between Arthur and Morgaine in the book is wonderful and they could have used it in the movie, it's a shame they didn't :/ the same with Morgana's relationship with Lancelot and Accolon, they made it so superficial!
