Just Normal part 1 of 2

Billy has always been different, never fitting in with normal people, and only finding comfort in the company of his loving yet dysfunctional family. This is because Billy has Down's Syndrome. Billy struggles to communicate with other people, is bullied by groups of boys, and attracts attention without intention, but all of this is ignored as he plods through each day apparently keeping himself busy by continually making wishes. In the days leading up to Billy's birthday party we might just find out what it is that he wishes for. "Just Normal" is the graduation film by student film maker Simon Smith, and was made with voluntary support from a cast and crew dedicated to making the dream of being a film-star come true, for Down's Syndrome actor David Martin.
