Atlanticism was extended from the British Empire to Europe after WWII. It's the philosophy that was taught to West German civil servants as a replacement ideology to nazism.

Atlanticism presumes the Atlantic ocean is a single economy - to justify colonization by W European predatory cultures.

I would add that Atlanticism is ballast. Trans-Atlanticism is the London-New York connection : old money & the permanent powers.

Yes, and what Russia could do is to grow closer to the European Union, especially treat the EU as separated from the United States. Russia should encourage and help Serbia become an EU member.
