Rowdy blames the failure off Obama to secure the Olympic bid for 2016 on Bush and the last four years of US g'vt? If Obama had made the pitch that the games were about the United States insted of about himself, he might have been successful. When FLOTUS made her pitch and said that athletics would allow some kid to grow up to be another Obama, IROTFL! So, Rowdy, give the failure another shot . BTW, we are all big AU fans.

hey okay this isn't really treehuggerjk this is headstrongchick but um I met him when I was like 5. My step mom was the executive diretor of the YMCA.and she knew him and he knew my dad.

I attended a swim camp for adults at the local Y and met Rowdy in 2001. Afterwards he gave us autographs. Shortly after the 9-11 disaster occured. I tried to put my autograph on EBAY to raise money for victims and wouldn't you know it, RG contacted me! He ended up sending me some more pics and we raised about $100 for Ebay/911 victims. The heart of a champion and an American Legend!
