Many just want to restore it the way it was in the 80's, but i want to do that and bring more to it, even todays mainstream (which im not really fond of myself) but it was in fact a channel based on MUSIC and modern trends no matter how crappy,I would like to see 1950's-2010's music go hand in hand and have theyre own seperate time slots as well, and maybe, just maybe bring back real music to an ill informed audience. you would be a great CEO I can tell!

@1989hirokazu And that is exactly what I'll do should I win a huge lottery jackpot, buy MTV and seriously clean house and restore it the way it was, and call it 'Restored' MTV with only music videos, concerts, interviews with rock and pop stars and Beavis and Butthead old and new. I would air current mainstream music Monday through Friday, B & B everynight for one hour, '80s videos every Friday night from 5 to 2 am, '70s videos and disco Saturdays and '60s music on Sundays.

Looks like 5 Jersey Shore and Teen Mom fans were here. They have no business seeing this if they don't like classic MTV when it was MTV, not their beloved reality shows they like so much. Very glad that I'm not today's generation. I wouldn't want to be them 30 years from now knowing what they'll be facing when we're either enjoying retirement, in nursing homes or dead.
