My grumpy, mean, cantankerous uncle crashed in a corvair. The car folded up like a accordion he was gone. So i bought a used for my mother in-law with fingers crossed.

Owned a 62 Corvair with factory heavy duty suspension and brakes. It also had an Abarth exhaust system, and a Bill Thomas quick steering unit. I won autocrosses with that car, and am alive today because of it's responsive handling when a cement truck pulled in front of me.
FYI, Ralph idiot Nader didn't have a drivers license when he wrote "Unsafe at Any Speed!" The only thing wrong with the car was engine reliability.
