@BeatBay: She uses the same picking style first popularized by George Benson. You need a fairly heavy pick with a slightly rounded tip, which you turn 90 degrees to the strings so that the pick crosses the string perpendicularly. This reduces the "click" of the attack and smooths it out, and also allows - once you get it up to speed - very fast and smooth sweeps. Bailey has an instructional video on YT or her website showing how to do it.

wow, she's really great, i had no idea... just found out about her, and i gotta say: very impressive playing (and i'll spare the usual "for a woman" here, as to me it's totally besides the point). she should rank right up there with emily remler imho. why ms. bailey isn't much better known than she is (at least here in europe/germany) is totally beyond me. great stuff!
