I grew up here to... but I lived in the Marine Base, my house is gone now, but I came back about 5 years ago... Im in California now but Ill always miss Oahu

Not everyone will have an emotional response to this video. I do. This is where I grew up. In the late 50s and early 60s this was the view from the YMCA in Kokokahi. The pier - which is just decaying pilings in this video - stretched out in to the bay. And the muddy shoreline was where we caught shrimp to use as bait when we went fishing off the pier or by boat out in the bay.
