Fancy a night of quality Latin and jazz music, with a few piano solos thrown in? How about lending the people of Japan a hand in their hour of need...at the same time?
On Friday, April 1, 2011, the Latin Express (GIS' very own Latin/jazz band), will be holding a benefit concert for Japan. Funds raised from the concert will go towards helping with urgent humanitarian efforts in the wake of the recent disasters in Japan.
The earthquake and tsunami have left many Japanese devastated and in need of lots of help from the international community. This is your chance to add your contribution, whilst enjoying great music and delicious food. Come along for a good cause, and bring your friends and family too!
(If you're not into jazz, invite your parents! Non-GIS friends, family and colleagues are also welcome.)
When: 6.30pm - 8.30pm Friday, April 11, 2011
Where: Grand Hall, GIS
Dress code: Smart casual
Tickets: Minimum RM50 donation per person, but you are more than welcome to donate more if you wish! Tickets can be purchased from Ms. Devi at the fees office in the Arts Block.
