A very special thanks to Josie and also the fact that she is a cancer survivor and just completed her treatment.

Josie found my services on the internet and felt that it was worth the trip from Tampa Bay to Jacksonville for me to service her Benz since she could not find anyone in Tampa that she felt (not me) could do what she wanted done.

Before I did anything, I went around the Benz sanding and refinishing the paint damage that was on it.

Next, I washed the Benz a couple of times using the two bucket method using Meguires Gold.

Next, I clayed bar out the clear coat using Clay Magic (medium) I have used Mothers (California Gold) as well as Meguires clay bar and find that these cheap products only have half the pick up at best that Clay Magic has so I'm sorry to dissapoint all of you die hard Mothers fans.

Next, I compounded out the clear coat removing the oxidation, scuffs and minor scratches. I use a Meguires product to do this called Diamond Cut. I also like to use a wool pad since this gives you maximum cutting power. I operate my DeWalt at about 1800 rpm.

Next, I polished out the clear coat using an Ardex product called Stereo Glaze #2. This removes the swirls from the clear coat thus defining it even more. I will swap my wool pad out for a Lake Country white polishing pad and slow my wheel down to about 1000 rpm. This gives the polish time to work into and remove the swirls from the clear coat.

Next, and the final application is the sealer application or whats known as the clear coat protection. I use another Ardex product called Clear Coat Sealer #9200. I also swap my polishing pad out for a Lake Country yellow concourse finishing pad to give me that concourse finish that everyone is looking for. My wheel still stays at 1000 rpm.

And this completes the exterior clear coat work.

Next, I detail out the engine compartment to specs making it look like it was just installed at the Benz factory.

After that, the whole interior was detailed out to include jams, the headliner a broken air conditioning vent and much more.

When the whole Benz was completed, it looked better than show room condition.

Josie also felt that the drive from Tampa Bay to Jacksonville was certaintly worth the trip and certaintly a tribute to my services.

Just a little trivia for everyone. The Benz logo stands for air, land and sea.

I am adding a link to the gallery that correspondes to this video so everyone can see the before and after pics.

  • fresh off the assembly line martin. if you live ANYWHERE in florida..make the drive to jacksonville for wright's high end refinishing. detail means quailty and its the only thing he delivers. from cali to florida. you are legit marteee.

  • martin you did a very good job on this video and the car looks fantastic. i see that you put your heart and soul in to this car and the paint damage that you fixed looks good. the engine turned out great and so did the interior. josie was so happy with the job that you did on her car and thats what i like seeing in your videos.her driving the whole way from tampa was well worth it. All of your clients are always impressed with you work that you do. as i am to. keep up the great work.

  • @AliGhanizad all of martins videos do make him look good. well i have to disagree with you i am a detailer and martins videos are the best on the net. this guy has a lot of fans and followers, and just to mention that he has parkinsons. josie had nobody in tampa bay to detail her car, so she went to the best and thats it. Martin won a national endorsment from a detailers association. I am going to train with this guy for two weeks because he is the best out there.
