Highlighting and clarifying the distinction between culturism and racism is very important in today's political correctness-obsessed society because people have been trained to operate under the delusion that "if you're not a multiculturalist, then you must be a racist." If I had a dime for every time I encountered that attitude...

Amen. There is one race, the human race. The word racist is frequently used when people actually mean discrimination, prejudice, bigotry, intolerance, xenophobia, or bias,

I wonder if john acknowledges the link between race and culture. Meaning that its fine to be culturist but if you think that Japan can lose its racial characteristics and keep its cultural characteristics youre dead wrong. OR if you think that blacks can inherit and pass on western culture and society thats incorrect as well. The two are bound. Biology keep culture on a leash. No nation can change racially and not change culturally as well. NEVER HAPPENED

In most cases it boils down to culture and not race. but i will go out on a limb and say that genetics plays a part in potential. a person with the best genetics will overcome. while the one with bad genetics will most likely fail even in the ideal enviornment..

I think I get this and I am grateful for your input. However the delivery would lose most Brits while the subject matter is very important.
I agree with you (I think!).My view is not based on race but culture. However in a society where multiculturalism is rammed down our throats (Britain)race is a strong indication of culture.
The erosion of my native culture and values are my biggest worry not the colour of the person changing the culture.
The next time someone calls you a racist, tell them you are a culturist and engage them in a geo=political discussion that includes values.
