  • isn't this geumungo?

  • No, isn't. This is Gayageum, particularly, Sanjo Gayageum.

The geomungo is generally played with a short bamboo stick called "술대suldae".

    More traditionnal gayagum !! :p

  • Ok .. i cant handle this anymore .. why these new generation, so called jesus lovers in the south korean, dont they love their own culture. These people burned down many buddist's temples, and they are the people that burn down the hundrad years old gate which it is the symbol of Soul ( it is in their passport too). What the fuck man! .Don't jesus teachs you guys to love your own cultures? I think, it's because Korean cultures were so bonded to non-christian religion, so they want to detroy it.

  • I have never seen "Cannon variation" being played on a pair of Gayageum.

The young man has a small physique, yet, hands are big. It was innovative performance. Fabulously played. Congratulations! Explore more of the same genre. It opens up a new frontier. Significant contribution.

  • Hi, absolutely beautiful tune, took me away, do you have a video of the whole performance and or additional information?

  • What is the name of this composition and where can i find the full video?!?

  • @pranhu

    Pranhu,

I agree with almost everything you said. The only thing is some people are straight up crazy.

The guy from VT never once acknowledged Jesus as God and the ONLY judge for our sins...therefore, he is not a true Christian. He is delusional and grossly misinformed.

    Hope this helps!

    God bless!!

  • Geomungo and gayageum both great!!

  • @lariaen. Wow are you fucking blind? The rest of the world know how bad of the South Korean Christians-they are fucked up in the head. (For instance, remember the Virginia Tech incident? That guy he is from S. Korean) have recorded himself before he killing everyone--he said god hate us and we all are siner, and student must be killed. They have the highest rate of committing suicide census in Korean. Come on dude, take a look--most of people agreed with my post.

  • @Deutschland596 wow, way to put down a performer based on what little you know about the two korean cultures (north/south).

that's just as bad as saying

wow, you're pretty good at playing basketball,

but you're not black, and I think black basketball players can do better than you.

  • @pranhu it's kind of hard to understand what the hell you're talking about, but I'll try to respond to the gist of what you're saying. I've never met a christian korean who didn't love their own culture, and I'm even more certain that there's nothing in the bible about loving one's own culture. there are plenty of things pertaining to the fading condition of the korean traditions to be upset about, but it has nothing to do with christianity or any sort of religion for that matter.

  • can you speak korean?*^^*
