Oregon's Governor Ted Kulongoski, Senator Margaret Carter, Roy Jay and a host of others are on hand for the official signing of HB 3054 which helped with seed money to keep Project Clean Slate operating. The program which started on July 9, 2005 has served and helped literally thousands of people get a second chance for jobs, employment, housing and other opportunties by expunging minor criminal convictions, covering past due traffic fines to meaningful community service as well as re-establishing child support payments.
The brainchild of businessman, Roy Jay, the program continues to receive recognition, awards and attention and is a template for other cities.

Thank you for your comment..This program has been around since July 9, 2005 when I first launched it. We have served over 8,000 since then. We are always looking to expand the program to other counties and states. It is a lot of hard work but well worth it. -- Roy Jay, Founder

This is a WONDERFUL program, and such an inspiring shift in the mentality after the privatization of the prison system. God Bless this program, and I sincerely hope that programs such as these expand into truly reforming our justice system and give ex-cons a real chance at a new life. I absolutely support this.
