  • For those wondering how to solve the double boot issue for this board, there are 2 things that you can do 1) UEFI BIOS -> go to ‘Advanced’ tab -> go down to ‘APM’, press Enter -> enable the “Power on by PCIe.” function. Then press F10 to save & exit. After save & exit, let the system boot into Windows or other OS, then perform a proper shutdown: Start button -> Shut down 2) Internal PLL Overvoltage = DISABLED .

#2 worked for me. No boot isues since.

  • Genau das gleiche Board. Gleiches problem bei mir. Deswegen hol ich mir ein Asus Maximus IV Extreme

  • @chazflyz i needa try that lol bc it has a three cycle ordeal and I just call it, originality of being a bitch... BUT I can't complain.. I am running 4.7ghz, i oc'd to 5.0... using just a modified corsair h60.. I have 7 fans total. 8 w/ gpu.. i love it. and my vcore doesnt roam above 1.2 XD loving it

  • if its just a double boot, then its a feature of the new boards, they do a self check, and intication LEDs will light up and go out as it checks and passes the boot:) it will only do this if you have your cpu overclocked, if you leave the chip at stock Mhz it will only boot once:) hope this helps anyone? i had/have same issue, i called the tech support and they told me its normal and nothing to worry about, and i have seen other m/bs do it on vids on here:)

  • Can the problem is because i have my 2x4GB RAM at black slots ?

  • @chazflyz Didn't help for me tried both solutions...

  • y dont u look up the code displayed on the board on the asus website

  • @porkchoperz although im on a P8Z68-V Gen 3 mb

  • @porkchoperz I have exacly the same problem. ive just built it as well so I cant even get into BIOS

  • does G.Skill Ripjaws fit under the noctua nicely or does it have problems?
