FYROM's PM Nikola Gruevski, lays a wreath on a monument, to which a map of the so-called "United Macedonia"
is attached, the map includes a considerable part of Northern Greece, including Greece's second-largest city Thessaloniki, even Mount Olympus, the legendary home of the ancient Greek gods is included.
This is no less than 30% of the territory of Greece.

Never exists a kingdom, country or a province in the ancient, medieval or Modern period with the same or similar borders with the so called: "United Macedonia"
For example FYROM's Capital (Skopia) in ancient period was part of Dardania (an Illyrian kingdom) and during the ottoman's period was capital of Kossovo vilayet




The Absolut vodka company apologized Saturday (April 5, 2008)
for an ad campaign depicting the southwestern U.S. as part of Mexico amid angry calls for a boycott by U.S. consumers.

The campaign, which promotes ideal scenarios under the slogan "In an Absolut World," showed a 1830s-era map when Mexico included California, Texas and other southwestern states. Mexico still resents losing that territory in the 1848 Mexican-American War and the fight for Texas independence.
