Butterflies (A Stemi and Nelena Story) EP 23

Joe's POV: Miley's knife slashed into my thigh. Selena screamed. My jeans had mostly fallen off. I stayed in my, now weakend, protective stance in front of Selena.

Miley: You SURE about that Joe? You'd still rather die than just leave?
Joe: *says through pain* I'm not leaving.
Selena: No! Joe, I don't want you to die too!
Miley: *snickers* Yes, Joe. We ALL want you to leave
Joe: That's not happening.
Miley: Have it your way. *trys to stab Joe again*
Joe: *Jumps out of the way and grabs the knife*

Joe's POV: I grabbed the knife by the blade, ignoring when it cut into the palm of my hand. I tugged it away from Miley and poined it at her like a gun.

Joe: Leave. NOW!
Miley: *looks at Selena one more time, runs out, gets in the van, and drives away*
Joe: You okay?
Selena: Me? Aren't you the one that just go stabbed?
Joe: Yeah...
Selena: What are we going to do? We don't have a car.
Mitchel: Yes you do.
Sterling: *Walks in behind him*
Selena: Mitchel?
Mitchel: Ya, it's me. Now lets get outta here. Joe needs a doctor.
Sterling: Mitch, you sit in the front with Joe. I'll sit in the back with Selly.
Mitchel: *Nods*

*Sterling, Mitchel, Joe, Selena: Walk out, get in the car, and drive to the same hospital that Demi's in*

Demi's POV: I was still crying. Selena was dead. I'd known the innstant that I'd seen Miley's face that Miley intended to kill her. How could Sterling just FORGET?! The thought that I would loose Selena was to bad to bare. Instead I just murmured the untruthful words to my self that Selena was okay. Then Selena walked in.

DemI: Selena? OH MY GOSH, SELENA!
Selena: Careful, don't hurt yourself. *Sarcastic* Moving isn't good with a ripped open chest.
Demi: I'm so glad you're alive!
Selena: Thanks to your ex boyfriend, I am.
Demi: Joe saved you?
Selena: Ya, and he took a stab for me.
Demi: Wow. Is he okay?
Selena: Ya. The doctors say that he just needs some stiches. No biggie. *Frowns* YOU'RE going to be okay, right?
Demi: I think so. The only thing that could go wrong is if it gets infected. It isn't very likely though.
Selena: That's good.
Demi: Did you see Sterling out there? I kinda yelled at him.
Selena: Ya he's sittin' in the waiting room lookin sad.
Demi: *feels bad*
Selena: Want me to get him?
Demi: Yes!
Selena: Okay *Leaves*
Demi: *Mumbles to her self* Will he forgive me? Is he going to hate me? Does he think that I'm a bitch?
Sterling: Why don't you ask HIM youself.
Demi: Sterling I'm so-
Sterling: Yeah, Yeah, you're soooo sorry. I get it.
Demi: Do you forgive me?
Sterling: Your to cute not to.
Demi: *smiles* Then get the heck over here and kiss me!
Sterling: *Walks over and kisses her gently*
Demi: *Kisses back and puts her hands in his hair*
Sterling: *still kissing her, he puts his hands on each side of her face*
Selena: *Sarcastic* Aw. The make-up and then the make-out. Never saw anything sweeter. *laughs*
Demi: *leans back and takes her hands out of his hair* Hey Selly, why don't you go "do it" with Nick, like you said you want to.
Selena: *blushes* I never said that.
Demi: *rolls her eyes*
Sterling: *rubbing Demi's arms gently* What?
Demi: *laughs* Nothing you need to worry about, just Selena's hormones kickin with a mixture of impulse.
Selena: Can we talke about something else, PLEASE?
Demi: Like?
Selena: LIKE when you're getting outta here?
Demi: *sighs* I'm going to be here a while. A few months maybe...
Sterling: I'm going to visit every day.
Selena: Ya, and I'll bring the juiciest gosip from school.
Demi: Thanks guys...has anyone told mom...or dad?
Selena: Ya, I called them before I came in here. They're on their way.
Demi: Can I see Joe?
Sterling: WHAT?
Selena: Ya, I'm with Sterling. Why do you want to see him? He's knocked out right now.
Demi: I know, but I still want to see him. I'll ask the doctors to wheel me there.
Selena: If that's what you want...
Sterling: Why do you want to see that ass?
Demi: He's not an ass! He saved Selena!
Sterling: I still don't like it.
Demi: Of COARSE you don't. You got boyfriend jelousy syndrom. *laughs*
Sterling: *glares at the floor*
Selena: I'll go ask the doctor to get you to his room *leaves*
Demi: *brushes Sterling's cheek* Don't worry, Joe's Okay, I just need him right now. Not because I have feelings for him, but because I've known him forever and I still love him...in a way...in a friend way.
Sterling: I believe you.

*Doctors: Come in and wheel Demi's bed to Joe's room and place in next to Joe's bed*

Sterling: *stays in Demi's empty room*

Demi: *takes Joe's hand* *Whispers* I'm going to be the first one you see when you wake up.
