So this is a classic SRV style blues shuffle called So Excited, this version is inspired by his performance in the El Mocambo, although it is not the exact version note-for-note. This is just how I play it. The purpose of this video is strictly for educational purposes, so you can see in good quality how it's played. I used my American standard strat custom reliced with Texas special pickups plugged into a Tubescreamer and then into my Fender blues deluxe amp. It came out just a little bit too distorted for my taste but I'm still learning how to properly mic my amp so that's probably why.

Love the tone you have here! I don't thing it's too distorted, but would sound fine with a bit less distortion too. What comes through is your good chops! Keep up the good work!

Dude you've got it together on this one. Love the sound. Is that a loop on the table? I have a loop but don't know how to hook it up so I can run it through my vocal harmonizer at the same time. @sherrillwallace Thank you. If you're refering to the red box on the bed, it's a Fostex MR8 Digital recorder, it's what I use to record the guitar amp with a mic, because mic's in cameras are always crap.
