I was born in '57 and you better believe that these were the best years of my life, the 60's and 70's, even conceding the social strife and Vietnam. You had to live through the days to know all the incredible music everywhere. I wouldn't trade that back for my youth for anything. What a time to grow up!

I'm a '57-er myself, just turned 56. Couldn't be happier, got some terrific grown kids and two gorgeous Grand-babies! This particular song is a special one for me and one of my kiddos...Yeah, those days were great, I guess, at least for us personally, every generation has it's own troubles, we had ours, let's pray it'll be better for the next ones...

You do realize this is NOT the Edison Lighthouse that wrote and sang the song, right? The guys in the video are lip syncing the song. They're a bunch of stand-in musicians who were filmed singing the original band's song.

Yep I agree, the 60's and 70's were great to be young and the music was great then. I am glad like you that I was young then. The word is not a great place now and I have fond memories of being oblivious to world economic crisis and terrible wars everywhere. Maybe I was just young and naive lol!!!
