The Herstilanean Chanter Episode 1 Progress **READ DESCRIPTION!**

For those who don't know, I'm planning a THC re-boot, so I thought it would be best to show you have far I got with the actual episode itself. This was animated in the better part of 2009, mainly around August to October, and from then I announced a hiatus. So 2 years later, I thought I'd show you what it would've looked like.

I probably won't be continuing on this, but I might re-boot THC and turn it into a movie as opposed to a series. But right now, I'm a bit more focused on getting my newest series (Flat Humor) off the ground. But who knows how long that will take. If I do animate THC, it would be with Anime Studio Pro, so I couldn't continue from this. It would just look weird.

I'll give you a bit of context to this scene. Karin, banished from her hometown of Herstilanea and cast into the forests, has learnt to live off of the wild. She was banished on the grounds of being a chanter, but being only 17 at the time, they proclaimed that being killed would be too inhumane, so they cast her into the forests to starve. It turns out that she is perfectly okay, and she finds Evelyn, another chanter living in the forests, but her inexperience sometimes causes her to get hurt. She has no idea of how she got there, and she really doesn't want to think about it too much. They team up and find the city of Calderon, wherein they meet Samuel, another chanter, and eventually LOCAO, the Legion of Chanters Against Olenia. I'll spoil the rest if I say anymore.

There may be a few sound effects and animations missing, but I just pieced it together from the files I had. The voices are me as Karin and Coolcameracat03 as Evelyn.

I think you're going in the right direction, and it looks great. ^^

A few more sound effects would make it more realistic though, and maybe slow down a bit. I thought everything happened a bit too fast, but I'm a bit slow too XD

Sorry, um yes. I really like it so far. ^_^ You did great with the mouth movements, and that walking animation was awesome. It's all-around well put together. You've improved a lot since this though.

I think you're being too hard on yourself, MewYuki, honestly. I think you should continue with the story, even though it was short, I grew to like it, along with wondering what would happen next. :)
